DOOGEE Enters the Smart Home Market with New AI-Driven Appliances and Wearables

As PR Newswire reports from Berlin, DOOGEE used IFA 2026 to officially step into the smart home category, unveiling its Home Life Ecosystem — a lineup anchored by a robot vacuum and a countertop ice maker built for the kind of daily routines you probably already have running on autopilot.

What's actually in the debut

The two headliners tackle chores you'd rather not think about. The Flow 50 smart vacuum promises 170AW of suction paired with anti-tangle technology — meaningful if you've ever watched a robot vacuum eat a shoelace, choke on a fringe, and quietly give up in the corner. Then there's the NU60 smart ice maker, leaning into True Nugget Ice for those soft, chewy cubes people actually argue over at dinner parties. DOOGEE says it churns out up to 17 cups per refill and runs through an intuitive touchscreen, which means you're not diving into an app every time someone wants a top-up before the next round.

The company is wrapping the whole ecosystem around three principles: Practical, Efficient, Smart. In plain language, that's a promise that these things should fade into your routine instead of demanding another phone notification you didn't ask for.

The bigger ecosystem picture

DOOGEE isn't keeping the Home Life idea inside the house. The same announcement stretches into wearables designed to keep you connected when you walk out the door — outdoor smartwatches with offline route navigation and bone-conduction headphones rated IP68 for swimming. The pitch is essentially that the smart home conversation is becoming a connected-everywhere conversation, with one brand trying to hold your hand across categories.

That timing matters. While DOOGEE was setting up in Berlin, Samsung has been pushing Ballie, a rolling AI companion robot designed to move between rooms and manage routines on its own, and smart thermostat startup Boldr just closed a €4.2 million round to grow its heating and cooling platform. The bar for what counts as a real smart home ecosystem is rising fast, and the IFA floor was a good place to feel that shift.

What to actually watch before you buy

Here's where I'd pump the brakes a little. DOOGEE earned its reputation on rugged phones and budget-friendly gear, so the open question is whether these appliances hold up the way a vacuum from a brand that's been doing this for a decade does — especially once you factor in pet hair, crumbs, and a year of daily runs. Pricing, app reliability, and whether DOOGEE commits to real software updates are the usual friction points for any newcomer, and trade-show announcements rarely answer them.

For now, the Home Life Ecosystem is a confident first showing. But the real test is the kind of boring Tuesday night when the vacuum needs to actually finish a room and the ice maker needs to actually keep up with friends on the patio. That's the moment you'll know if it belongs in your home.
